Με ιδιαίτερη χαρά σας ενημερώνουμε ότι η ΕΔΕΜ θα συμμετάσχει ενεργά σε δύο σημαντικές εκδηλώσεις για τη μουσική και τα δικαιώματα των δημιουργών:

Στην εκδήλωση του ΟΠΙ για τον εορτασμό της Παγκόσμιας Ημέρας Διανοητικής Ιδιοκτησίας, που αναδεικνύει τον καθοριστικό ρόλο της μουσικής δημιουργίας και

Στο Athens Music Week, μια δυναμική συνάντηση επαγγελματιών της μουσικής βιομηχανίας, από την Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό.

Η παρουσία της ΕΔΕΜ σε αυτές τις διοργανώσεις ενισχύει τη φωνή των δημιουργών και προβάλλει τη σημασία της προστασίας της πνευματικής ιδιοκτησίας στο σύγχρονο πολιτιστικό τοπίο.

World IP Day 2025

Ο Οργανισμός Πνευματικής Ιδιοκτησίας σε συνεργασία με τον Οργανισμό Βιομηχανικής Ιδιοκτησίας και τους οργανισμούς συλλογικής διαχείρισης για τα μουσικά έργα στην Ελλάδα «H ΑΥΤΟΔΙΑΧΕΙΡΙΣΗ», «ΕΝΩΣΗ ΔΙΚΑΙΟΥΧΩΝ ΕΔΕΜ», «ΑΠΟΛΛΩΝ», «ΕΡΑΤΩ», «GRAMMO», «GEA – GRAMMO, ΕΡΑΤΩ, ΑΠΟΛΛΩΝ» γιορτάζει και φέτος την Παγκόσμια Ημέρα Διανοητικής Ιδιοκτησίας, που καθιέρωσε ο Παγκόσμιος Οργανισμός Διανοητικής Ιδιοκτησίας (WlPO), με μία ξεχωριστή εκδήλωση αφιερωμένη στη μουσική δημιουργία και στο οικοσύστημά της.

Η εκδήλωση θα πραγματοποιηθεί στην Τεχνόπολη του Δήμου Αθηναίων τη Δευτέρα 5 Μαΐου 2025 ώρα 12:00 – 19:00 στο Αμφιθέατρο Μ. Έβερτ και είναι αφιερωμένη στη σύνδεση της μουσικής με την πνευματική ιδιοκτησία, ενώ έχει ως στόχο να εμπνεύσει και να ενημερώσει τη νέα γενιά δημιουργών και ερμηνευτών μεταξύ άλλων για τις πτυχές της μουσικής δημιουργίας και παραγωγής, τον ρόλο των ερμηνευτών, την επίδραση της τεχνητής νοημοσύνης και τις νέες ψηφιακές εμπειρίες και πολλά ακόμη. Στο τέλος της εκδήλωσης θα υπάρχει μια μουσική έκπληξη!

Athens Music Week

Το Athens Music Week επιστρέφει για 7η χρονιά πιο ανανεωμένο από ποτέ!

Από τις 7 έως τις 10 Μαΐου, θα έχουμε την ευκαιρία να συναντήσουμε καλλιτέχνες, επαγγελματίες και λάτρεις της μουσικής για τέσσερις ημέρες γεμάτες παρουσιάσεις, συζητήσεις, networking events και πολλές showcase συναυλίες από εγχώρια και διεθνή ονόματα.

Η ΕΔΕΜ, Θεσμικός Υποστηρικτής του AMW, θα είναι και φέτος παρούσα.

Showcase: Irini Mando (GR)

Irini Mando has been independently releasing music since 2015, including ghostwriting for Warner Music US. Her single “Hang” was featured on the Amy Winehouse Foundation’s first compilation album, recorded in Winehouse’s personal studio, and released through Island Records UK.

In 2019, the remix of “MVP (feat. Jay Lyn Gatz)” gained traction, being featured during the NBA Playoffs by the Portland Trailblazers DJ OG One and added to their official game playlist. Just before the 2020 quarantine, she released the visually striking “Champagne Nights Out” music video, directed by Konstantinos Gkoumpetis (Vogue Germany, Vogue Italy).

Irini has performed internationally at Canadian Music Week and ASCAP EXPO, having been awarded PRS Foundation’s International Showcase Fund; she also was invited to attend BPI’s UK Sync Mission at Capitol Records LA. Her work has garnered support from Apple Music, Vevo, and multiple sync placements, including with the NBA.

Her Trouble EP, exploring love and self-worth, features collaborations with Sebastian Seville (Kanye West), Mafro (The Vibe Room, Saint Harisson, Ghetts), and Enz (Steam Down, Kojey Radical), with mixing and mastering by Jonas Westling (Lady Gaga, James Arthur). The single “Warning” saw significant success, receiving editorial support from Apple Music and featured on the Brown Sugar playlist across 11 countries.

Irini embarked on a UK-wide school tour 2021-2023, playing hundreds of shows to thousands of young people over two years, before taking a break from live performances. She recently returned to the stage to make a guest appearance at her friend, collaborator and SXSW award winner Lemzi’s homecoming headline show, where they performed their song “Crestfallen” together.

In 2024, the artist focussed predominantly on honing in on her songwriting craft, partaking in four songwriting camps across Europe (Tallinn, Berlin and Cologne), expanding her repertoire by writing in German, French and Greek as well as working with International artists (Olivia Addams, Honny, Cartoon Baboon).

Her latest project, Late Nights / Early Mornings, highlights her most personal work, collaborating with Mafro, Steven G-Legend (Ghetts, Little Simz), and Ro9 (Jae5, Ms Banks).

She closed 2024 by jumping on DJ AG’s TikTok live stream, receiving a wheel-up and praise for having “the voice of an angel.”

Irini Mando (GR/DE)

Showcase: Blu Fiefer (LB/MX)

Blu Fiefer is a Lebanese-Mexican artist, music producer, director, and founder of the Lebanese record label Mafi Budget. Known for her multi-faceted approach to art, Fiefer combines music, visual storytelling, and cultural advocacy to create boundary-pushing work.

With over 14 years in the arts and multimedia, Fiefer’s creative journey reflects a deep commitment to capturing her personal experience in the context of her culture. Her work embodies the sonic landscape and cultural evolution of the MENA region.

Blu’s current focus is on the release of her debut album Villain Bala Cause, a project that unfolds as a series of singles accompanied by interconnected music videos. Fiefer embarks listeners on a narrative journey exploring themes of personal growth, identity, and societal critique. Having already scored regional hits like Sharaf, Nazel Big Champagne, and Ghtayta, the album drops in April 2025 on her label Mafi Budget.

Blu Fiefer (LB/MX)

Showcase: Elena Leoni (GR)

Elena Leoni is a musician, singer, and visual artist. Before finishing high school, she was admitted to the Athens School of Fine Arts, where she earned a degree in Sculpture.

She is a professional singer, songwriter, and musician, proficient in playing the harp and cello. She also holds a degree in contemporary singing and a diploma in Byzantine Music. Elena collaborates with renowned artists such as Marina Satti and Natassa Bofiliou, performing both in Greece and abroad.

In October 2023, she released her first single, “Ela”, followed by “Gynaika”, a collaboration with Natassa Bofiliou, Martha Frintzila, and Kora Karvouni. Her latest release, “ZEÏBEKIKO”, features an animated video she created.

She has presented her work at festivals such as TEDx and Oinoxeneia, and has performed on major stages in Athens. She has also opened concerts for Marina Satti (Lycabettus) and Kostis Maraveyas (Floyd).

Beyond music, she illustrates children’s books for various publishers. In 2014, her first sculpture was installed in Zagorochoria, Epirus. Elena is also the co-owner and creative director of Idifono Publications.

Together with his partner Borja Piñeiro he is the founder of the duo Reykjavik606 (who have worked with the likes of Tenderlonious & Ishmael Ensemble). Alvaro Granda aka Divorce From New York embarked on a solo career and released his debut album ‘This Ain’t Jazz No More’ (Forbidden Colours) in 2021 making it to Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide FM and receiving support from Tom Ravenscroft (BBC 6 Music), Jamz Supernova (BBC Radio 1Xtra), John Gomez (NTS radio) or Errol (Touching Bass). He has been making a name for himself as a gifted electronic artist, creating some exquisite syncopated jazzy sounds which bridge the gap between jungle, broken beat and house, all held together by an infectious ability to sample classic jazz artists from his own record collection. In 2022 he released “Sausalito” (High Praise) and made it to The Line Of The Best Fit’s Best Albums of the Year, also featured on Don Letts’ BBC6. This has led him to play at festivals and clubs such as Jazztronica (Barcelona. Spain), Kala Festival (Dhermi.Albania),Jaguar Shoes (London. Uk), Bime fest (Bilbao. Spain), ESNS Festival(Groningen. Involved for two decades in different fields and positions of the Music ecosystem (Co-Founder of Kosmos Radio 93.6, e-Terra Records and Van Dog Events), Georges has produced dozens of special events (for TV shows, Music Awards, Olympic Games) and has participated in numerous European Music Projects (HEMI Music Innovation Hub, JUMP- European Music Market Accelerator, European Live Music Association).

He is the Founder of the “European Music Day” organizers network, the Founder and Artistic Director of the Athens Music Week, the co-founder of Music Tech Europe Association and an Executive Board member of the Federation of Music Conferences.

He is a partner of the Music Tech Europe Academy programme and of the newly born project SONIC “Strategic Opportunities for New Innovative Changes in Music Policies”

Olga Sismanidi (GR)

Senior expert, Creative Europe – European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) of European Commission

Olga Sismanidi is a senior expert in EU funding and project management in the Creative Europe programme. She oversees a cross-disciplinary portfolio across music, opera and digital arts, specialising in innovation, digitalisation and cross-sectoral collaboration in the cultural and media sectors. At European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) of the European Commission, she leads the European Music Networks and Platforms, representing the music industry, opera and performing arts. She previously managed the ‘Access to Finance’ action under the EU’s MEDIA programme. Her background spans EU programmes in research, innovation and entrepreneurship along with funding performance management and independent evaluation, following earlier works in the private communications sector, the IFPI and the BBC World Service. She read communications and media policies, copyright and music.

Demie Goudoufa (GR)

Assistant General Manager Strategy and Sustainable Development, National Bank of Greece

Ms. Demie Goudoufa has been Deputy General Manager of Strategy and Sustainable Development since December 2023. She has been with the National Bank of Greece since 2006, having previously served as Head of the International Activities Division (2013–2015) and Head of the Strategy Division (2015–2019). From 2019 to 2023, she was Director of the CEO’s Office under Mr. Pavlos Mylonas.

Before joining the National Bank of Greece, she worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Corporate Finance team (2000–2006), participating in numerous projects related to the financial sector. She began her career at Alpha Bank (1998–2000).

She holds a BSc in Economics (First Class Honours) from University College London (UCL) and an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics (LSE). She is also a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

She is married and the mother of two sons.

Tasos Vogiatzis (GR)

Tasos Vogiatzis is the founder of Avopolis.gr, Greece’s longest-running and most influential digital music brand, operating continuously for 29 years. What drives him is the intersection of music, technology, and emotional experience. Every idea that pushes the boundaries of how we create, distribute, and feel music fascinates him. Prodromos Tsiavos (GR)

Head of Digital & Innovation, Onassis Group

Prodromos Tsiavos is the Head of Digital and Innovation at Onassis Group and a Senior Research Fellow at The Media Institute/ UCL. At Onassis, he has been directing digital, innovation, and new media programs such as the Plásmata public space exhibitions. Additionally, he is leading the Onassis ONX initiative, the new media & digital culture program of Onassis Foundation, with physical presence in New York City and Athens, and a global community of artists and partners.

Moreover, he is a Senior Policy Advisor at the European research infrastructure OpenAIRE. In the past, he has served as an advisor to the Athena Research Center, the Academy of Athens, the National Hellenic Research Foundation (National Documentation Centre), the Greek Ministry of Development, and the European Commission. He has taught digital development, innovation, and open data at the University of Oslo and the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He has produced more than 150 publications and presentations on topics related to open technologies, data science, intellectual property policy and strategy, and innovation, with particular emphasis on cultural and creative industries.

Maria-Daphne Papadopoulou (GR)

Acting Director, Hellenic Copyright Organization

Dr. Maria Daphne Papadopoulou is currently the Acting Director of the Hellenic Copyright Organization. She is a member in many copyright and IP committees, and a national expert in groups for copyright and IP. She has an extensive law drafting experience (including the majority of copyright directives and recently the DSA Regulation); she has also drafted the relevant framework for the national copyright anti-piracy system (Article 66E Law 2121/1993 and the pertinent ministerial decisions), while she is actively involved in the function and the supervision of the Greek Committee for the Notification of Copyright and Related Rights Infringement on the Internet (EDPPI). She is an author of numerous contributions in books and articles (in Greek, English and German), has presented many papers in national and international conferences and gives lectures on copyright issues. At the same time, she is a copyright expert working as a freelance attorney consulting on copyright and general IP issues and a certified civil-commercial mediator.

Leonidas Christopoulos (GR)

Chief Executive Officer, Hellenic Film & AV Center – Creative Greece

Leonidas Christopoulos took over as Chief Executive Officer of EKKOMED-Creative Greece in September 2024 while from 2023 to 2024 he held the position of President and CEO of EKOME.

He was the Secretary General of Digital Governance and Simplification of Procedures of the Ministry of Digital Governance, from July 2019 to July 2023, and had EKOME under his supervision. During this period, significant improvements were made to the cash rebate scheme for audiovisual works in Greece, while the Tax Relief incentive was reactivated, and the Fund of Guaranteeing Loan for Companies Producing Audiovisual Work was established, in collaboration with the Development Bank.

Moreover, he was responsible for planning and implementing Greece’s digital strategy through the Digital Transformation Bible, the strategy for Artificial Intelligence and digital skills, the new Operational Program “Digital Transformation” of the NSRF 2021-2027, the upgrading of KEP and the policy for the simplification and digitalization of procedures through Gov.gr and the National Register of Mitos Procedures.

He has worked in the Ministries of Development, Finance, Education and Religious Affairs, Environment and Energy and Interior, while in the period 2016-2019 he was an advisor to the President of the Official Opposition on issues of State, Public Administration and Education.

He holds a BSc. in Political and International Studies from Panteion University of Political and Social Studies, Athens, and an M.A. in International Political Economy from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom, where he studied Political Economy of Mass Media. He is, also, a graduate of the National School of Public Administration and Local Government of Greece.

He speaks English and German.

Nikolaos Stampoulopoulos (GR)

Lecturer, SAE Athens

Nikolaos is a Gen-AI specialist and lecturer at SAE Athens, with a multifaceted background as a director, writer, cinematographer, and editor. His professional experience spans TV commercials, fiction films, documentaries, music videos, and youth-focused film education. As the founder and Creative Director of New Diaspora, a digital storytelling platform, he has explored themes of migration and identity through participatory media.

His mini documentaries have been broadcast on ARTE Future and featured at international academic conferences, including presentations at Freie Universität Berlin and the University of Oxford. In recent years, Nikolaos has focused on the creative potential of generative AI, delivering seminars and workshops on AI-powered audiovisual production at institutions such as the University of Athens, SAE Athens, Media Desk Athens, the Greek Documentary Network, and the Olympia International Film Festival.

His AI-generated short films have been showcased in numerous international festivals and competitions. He is also the creator of Hex Space, a science fiction project that blends storytelling with emerging technologies.
